Five day intensive trainer handcuff course.
This course is designed for those persons who’s occupation is involved in the temporary detention of persons of a violent nature i.e. Security staff, Door Supervisors, all candidate must have completed the intermediate handcuffing course at least 18 months before applying to become a trainer.
Course Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide a skill which will reduce the risks involved in detaining a violent person against their will in a safe and professional manner.
Course Objectives:
On successful completion of this course a delegate will have a better understanding of the situations when handcuffs may be considered.

Each trainer will be expected to make use of all and any delivery method in order to enable each delegate to achieve his / her full potential during the course.

Group discussion, Sharing knowledge, Q & A
Role play, Practical demonstrations
Simulations, static and dynamic practice
Examinations / continuous evaluation
The course is re-evaluated by an independent evaluator on an annual basis and the manual and all course material updated as required. It fully complies with the ICM Code of Practice 2002.
